Vegetarian Restaurant Review – The Veg Box Café, Canterbury UK

Located above a charming health food store in one of the old Canterbury side streets the Veg Box Café is something of a Canterbury institution these days. Serving up consistently great quality food with endless vegan options the Veg Box is a relaxed and friendly place with bubbly staff and a commitment to locally sourced and fair trade ingredients.

Previously I had only popped in there for coffee and cake one morning (the cake was excellent) but the menu had looked so inviting that I came back a few weeks later for a full meal. The food is home cooked and un-fancy but delicious and exceptional value. There were three of us eating and we all had different mains – the macaroni cheese was the perfect balance of cheese and pasta and had a slight spicy kick to it which was welcome. The chilli was also hot and well-spiced and came with perfectly cooked brown rice. Lastly I had the moussaka which was a delightful combination of lentil and aubergine.

For desert there are an endless selection of cakes and puddings to choose from. My personal favourite is the chocolate carrot cake but there are also some wonderful vegetarian and vegan ice creams on offer.

This is an old school vegetarian café, sat above a fair trade supermarket and it appears to be a bit rough and ready. But the food, service and prices cant be faulted and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Business Card Printing

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

It is very important to make sure you carefully consider the information you choose to include when business card printing.  You already have decided that you want to include your name and company name, but you are wondering how much other information to include or leave out. You may not want to include some personal information like a cell phone number, and instead choose to display a general office number.  Another option is to include your email address instead of a personal phone number.

You also might choose to include your street address, but you should absolutely include your business website as well. This way potential customers and clients can check out your company online.  Furthermore, it goes without saying that you should make sure to spell check your cards before you send them to the printer!  There is nothing more unprofessional than a business card with a spelling error.  In addition, you will want to make sure all the information is correct such as the right address or email address.
